Betwixt:
Dante begins his Divine Comedy:
“Midway along the journey of our life I woke to find myself in a dark wood, for I had wandered off from the straight path." Not too long ago I found myself in a dark wood. Distraught with the realization that there are so many humans we co-exist with that feed off of pain and suffering. Sometimes even people we love.... Their actions serve to divide people leaving only chaos in-between. |

Isolation:
When those in the world show you their darker side-- it is only natural to try to protect yourself. To insulate you from their negative energy via Isolation. But, too long in isolation can start to make you bitter towards the world. We grow thorns to try and protect ourselves. |

Flowers:
Much like reptiles need to shed their skin in life-- so too do humans. At certain points in our lives, often following forced epiphanies through pain, we are forced to adapt to a new realization of the world we live in. Leaving only decaying remains of what we had once been. |

Roots:
Once we have begun our rebirth it is important to have strong foundations to build upon. Life Lessons learned lead us to a new appreciation of what is fundamentally important to our happiness and this knowledge helps us dig deep against the swirling winds of change.

Yield:
Humans tend to believe that we control our own destiny. But, we don't even know what we want. Much less how to obtain it. Instead of trying to force the issue-- at some point it is best to Yield to the forces of the universe and understand that what will make us happy 10 years in the future might not have any part of our lives today. And that believing we know our path will only diminish the unknown possiblities.

The Sea:
Once we fully give ourselves to the notion that we can't control every aspect of our lives, without reservation, we can find peace. And for me nothing is more peaceful than the gentle lapping of waves on a shore.

Cosmic Trees:
Possibilities. Limitless possibilities exist. Life is full of them when we aren't trying to force them. |

Sputter:
Unfortunately, most of our dreams will Sputter out and end in failure. But, we don't need to reach our dreams to benefit from having them. They give us shape in a flat world. |

Heart:
Love. We all strive for it. Love from our family, friends, and strangers on the street. To be truly loved and to impact people's lives in a positive way--it seems so simple-- but few achieve it. |

In the End (It All Comes Back to You):
You get what you give. Whatever energy you have been giving to those around you will all come back to you in the end. |
